Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. (same day registration at 8:15 a.m.) The River to Ridge 5 Mile Run/Walk is held rain or shine.
Race start is on the northeast side of Riverside Park, near the visitor center. Shuttle service will be available post-race from the bluff top (on Hwy. FA across from the weather station) to take participants back to Riverside Park beginning at 11:00 a.m.
About the Race
The River to Ridge 5 Mile route is engulfed in nature’s beauty! This challenging trek starts at the Mississippi River in Riverside Park, winds through the La Crosse River Marsh trails, and leads to a lush, green view of the Mississippi River Valley from Hixon Forest’s bluff top.
Flush toilets are available at Riverside Park before the race, porta potties are available on the bluff-top. A bag drop will be available at Riverside.
Dogs are not allowed on the race course or on the shuttle bus back to the park. Service animals welcome.
Post Race Party – Food and Live Music!
After the race, participants will enjoy a bluff-top celebration with food (meat or veggie burgers), refreshments, and live music!

Participants must register by May 9th to be guaranteed a shirt in your size. After that date, shirts and sizes will be distributed first come, first served until they’re gone. You are not likely to get a shirt on race day, so register early!
Race Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be at WisCorps headquarters located at Myrick Park Center at 789 Myrick Park Dr. in La Crosse, WI. Packets will be available from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18th, 2018. Packets will also be available at the registration tent at Riverside Park on race day.
