Compensation: Competitive weekly stipend of $300, plus food and lodging, transportation, educational and recreational opportunities.

The WisCorps Inclusive Crew consists of 6 Corps Members with and without disabilities. They are paired with two experienced adult Crew Leaders who are both work supervisors and mentors to the crew. Together, the crew completes projects such as: community garden restoration, neighborhood cleanup, home accessibility, and home care. Corps members and leaders live and work together for the 4-week project season, working Monday-Friday with weekends off to recreate as a group.
WisCorps is a non-profit organization that works to conserve and protect our region’s magnificent natural resources by hiring teams of young adults with disabilities between the ages of 18-25 to complete high priority food systems, accessibility, and neighborhood revitalization projects in the greater La Crosse community.
Headquarters based in La Crosse, WI. Work throughout the La Crosse community and beyond.
Corps Member Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- 18- 25 years’ old
- Energetic, passionate about the conservation field
- Adventurous and hard-working
- Ability to work the entire four week project session
- Experience working in a team of people with diverse abilities
